Juniper West is a growing community in East Kamloops, boasting scenic views, nearby walking and biking trails, and easy access to the downtown. Riverside Energy Systems recently completed our first solar PV install within the community, an 8.4 kilowatt grid-connected system at the Hooton residence.
Energy harvested by the system will help to offset the client's BC Hydro energy bill incurred by the house’s electric appliances and their Tesla’s electric car charging station. The system is comprised of 28 Hanwha 300 Watt panels—a popular favourite—and mounts to the house’s main rooftop and the garage. The result is a visually appealing solar array, with clean lines that are complimented by the geometry of the roof.
