We were excited to work with this homeowner on their transition to solar energy after previously helping them with the installation of an EV charger. Having researched solar technology for many years, they were eager to finally move forward and took advantage of available incentives through the Canada Greener Homes program at the time.
Our team designed and installed a 6.4kW solar system featuring 14 Longi 455W panels with APsystems microinverters on the home’s asphalt shingle roof. The system was carefully designed to maximize the home’s available electrical capacity while supporting the homeowner’s long-term plans for increased electrification.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the homeowner to answer questions about electrical capacity, future energy usage, and installation details, including cable routing and overall system appearance. We also assisted with the grant and loan application process to help make the transition to solar as smooth as possible.
The completed system is now producing clean, renewable energy and helping reduce the homeowner’s electricity costs for years to come.
