Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:
    • Utilize various channels to identify and generate leads interested in grid-connected solar solutions.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and outreach strategies.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Initiate and maintain effective communication with potential customers.
    • Conduct initial consultations to understand customer requirements and educate them on grid-connected solar solutions.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on the latest solar technologies and products offered by Riverside Energy Systems.
    • Communicate effectively about the features, benefits, and advantages of grid-connected solar solutions.
  • Solution Recommendation:
    • Submit information gathered to the DAN team for a proposal to be generated.
    • Propose a customized solar solution to clients.
    • Clearly communicate the value proposition and return on investment of the recommended solutions.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract signing.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to closing the sale.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
    • Provide feedback to the leadership team for continuous improvement.
    • Stay updated on rebates and funding opportunities.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and report key sales metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
    • Report to the sales manager as required.
    • Use data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the sales process.

Working Conditions

  • Location: Kamloops, BC
  • Hours of Work: Typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to client sites and industry events as required.
