Shane Adams and Ursula Hart live in a beautiful, sustainable, new off-grid home. Their electrical energy system consists of 6 kW of solar PV, a 4 kW inverter/charger, storage battery, and backup diesel generator. Through the clever use of a steel shipping container, Shane and Ursula have integrated key electrical system components in a central location. Seasonally adjustable solar array tilt allows solar harvests to be optimized.
