NVIT Centre of Excellence in Sustainability

Riverside Energy Systems designed and installed a 30 kW grid-connected solar PV
system the for Nicola Valley Institute of Technology’s new Centre of Excellence in
Sustainability featuring separate 24.5 kW gym roof and 5.4 kW teaching roof subsystems.

The teaching roof was designed specifically to support future solar PV training programs. Optimized inverter technology was incorporated throughout to increase energy harvests and provide a feature rich monitoring platform for educational purposes.

We have since had the priviledge of using the NVIT CoES Teaching Roof and Energy Lab to deliver solar PV training for several of our First Nations solar clients.
