Brown Residence – Coldstream, BC

Jim and Cathy Brown approached us with an interest in using solar PV to reduce their electrical consumption. Their home on a beautiful sun bathed, south facing hillside, turned out to be as ideal a solar site as anyone could hope for. After a positive 12 month experience with their first 6 kW ground mounted array, they asked us to install a second; doubling their capacity to 12 kW. One advantage of ground mounting is the ease with which your solar array can be kept snow free in the winter; a practice Cathy enthusiastically took on.
